Members of the four regional hubs of the Urban Sanctuary and Migrant Solidarity project gathered in Berlin for a partnership summit on September 5th, 2022.

On September 5th, 2022, members of the four regional hubs of the Urban Sanctuary, Migrant Solidarity and Hospitality in Global Perspective project gathered in Berlin for a Soli*City partnership summit marking the end of phase one of the project, which focused on fostering collaboration and mapping the existing literature. The summit included presentations of literature review findings as well as discussions on possible research gaps and prospects for the next phase of the project and future research.  Dr Leah Koskimaki presented findings on migrant solidarity in South Africa, compiled with Research Assistant and MA student at UWC, Ms Perfect Mazani.  For a recap of the summit visit the project blog.
